Sadly, I don't think I knew Al very well at all.  I think I remember that he joined us (maybe 4th grade) from country school.  He seemed quiet and since I'm not an extrovert either, neither one of us had much to say.  Reading his obituary, it looks like he kept busy and had a nice family and lots of hobbies.  Rest in peace, Al!

I rode the same school bus with Albert and Terry. My memories of Albert are that he was a quiet young man around whom I always felt safe and comfortable. He was always friendly, probably shy, but ready to join a conversation if invited. Someone I would like to get to know now as an adult. I am saddened by his passing at such a "young" age, because he will always be 15 in my memory. My condolences to his family in this painful loss.
